Jeannie Yeoh - Owner & Lead Planner
Hello and welcome to A Blush Moment. I am so happy that you dropped by!
I always loved weddings and to be honest if you ask me what I love about them I wouldn't be able to put it in words for you. It could be the coordination of colours, the perfectly printed stationery or simply the union of two individuals. It was no doubt that one day I would be in the wedding business one way or another. And so, I decided to take the leap and A Blush Moment was born.
My passion for wedding planning comes from my creative background and experiences. I graduated from Ryerson University majoring in fashion design and have planned various parties and events for family and friends. I then went on to obtain my Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certificate in 2014 . My work has been featured on blogs and print magazines such as Style Me Pretty, Mingle, Weddingbells and Wedluxe to name a few. You can find all the pretty details here. I would love to be apart of your special day and would do all that I can to bring your vision to life.
On a more personal note, I would be the one friend to cry during a sad movie, the one friend to have teary eyes after hearing a romantic story and the one friend to make you countless cards year after year. Yes I am that friend. I believe in the little details and going the extra mile, after all it's the little things that do count.
Jennifer Han - Lead Planner
Hi, I'm Jen Han. I am a bilingual (Korean, English), Wedding Planners Institute of Canada certified professional with years of experience in planning, organizing and executing wedding events who holds dearly the values of honest and timely communication, presence and undivided attention from day 1 to the end of the ceremony, and of course, attention to detail. But isn’t this what every wedding planner values? What makes me different? I have gained knowledge and worldviews of diverse cultures due to frequent travels – you name it, Europe, Asia, and the Americas – and I have a distinct philosophy in my approach to being a wedding planner: being your best friend.
“Friends will tell you your dreams sound perfect and wish you luck.
Best Friends will work with you to make your dream come true and accompany you in your journey to plan the best party ever.”
I consider my relationship with you the most important. Rather than business-oriented relationship of planner-client, I strive to develop authentic, caring friendship and take time to get to know the real you. I strongly believe this makes all the difference in our level of engagement to one of the most important days of your life. The friendship will bring out the unique individual character and this will make your wedding ooze of your style and fantasies expressed in an alluring and creative fashion that cannot be recreated.
Natalie Hui - Lead Planner
Hello there! I’m Natalie Hui and I received my certificate from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada in 2016. That is when my event planning adventure began. From street festivals to community events as well as corporate meetings, my top favorite is celebrating love and being your wedding planner!
Being trilingual in English, Cantonese and Mandarin has proven beneficial as I tend to always draw up a good conversation with the aunties! My passion is working events either big or small and you’ll find that my days and nights are filled with that.
I hold a 100% ‘producer’ attitude and I find joy in the process of creation with all its ups and downs. I will be your supportive cheerleader and turn your ideas and visions into moments that you’ll truly enjoy. Being very detailed oriented you can rest assure that all the wedding details will be taken care of and that your day will be filled with laughter and happy tears only!
When I’m not planning a wedding, you’ll find me on the hunt for good food especially cakes! So let’s sit down and chat over some good eats!
Gabby Middleton- Assistant Planner
From a young age, I have always enjoyed organizing. From my clothes and toys, to sorting crayons by colour and shade when I was a young child. It’s no surprise that today, my greatest joy is to discover all of the details for an event and to organize them into a perfectly orchestrated day. I fret over the tiniest details so that couples can enjoy as they should on their special day.
My passion for details and design has been central to my artistry as a pastry chef as well. As a graduate of cake design, and a certified wedding planner completing the WPIC program in 2019, it’s no wonder that I love weddings and all of the trimmings that come with them. I am a romantic with an understanding of what is needed to help create the most incredible, personable wedding without the stress factor. It's all about telling your love story in your own unique way, and to me, the ultimate romance.
In my spare time, I love cooking and trying new bubble tea shops. My friends and family mean everything to me and it’s mostly what I fill my spare time with.
